These large, aromatic lemons are renowned for their perfect balance of sweet and tart flavours, making them the standout ingredient in this new addition to our marmalade collection.
Creating this marmalade is truly a labour of love. Each lemon is hand-sliced into medium shreds to ensure the natural essence shines through. The slices are gently cooked to enhance their juicy goodness and soften their texture just right. Once everything is perfectly combined, sugar is added, and the mixture is brought to a lively boil, closely monitored until it reaches the ideal consistency. For fans of a classic texture, we’ve achieved a lovely firm set that everyone loves!

The Single Variety Co Promise
Nicola founded Single Variety Co from her kitchen table with the aim of creating a range of seriously delicious fruit preserves and chilli jams. She carefully selected the finest ingredients, British where possible, and packed each jar full of as much fruit as possible with much less sugar than traditional jams. These aims remain the same today in our little jam factory in Bristol - as if Nicola had made them from home! Which is why we work closely with our local suppliers and take great pride in delivering to you the very best products we possibly can.
